Admit it, we all love a good story and the juicier the better. We will lean in close every time, especially when it gets personal. But when it comes to sharing our story, we hesitate just a little. We put up our guard and only share selective parts. But every now and then we get to sit down with friends and let our guard down. We open our hearts, we let them inside, and we share our real story. When we finish and all is said and done we can only hope that our story, our life, hasn’t been in vain. We send it out with a prayer that it would inspire, help, and encourage others that might be walking our same path.
I recently got to sit down with friends from the What’s Your Story? podcast, Stephani Cook and Hannah Conway, and share my story. We talked about my faith and fitness journey, about my family, and even about our days as missionaries in Venezuela. I shared with them how God helped me to overcome the defeat and unhappiness that came from being overweight and out of shape. I also shared some tips for anyone that might be going through the same. I just simply opened my heart and shared my story – unfiltered and uncut.
I invite you to grab a cup of coffee, pull up a chair, and listen in on our conversation. I would love nothing more than to share my story with you!!

Let me know if you joined in and by all means share your story every chance you get!!
but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect
1 Peter 3:15
As always, feel free to share.
